You take the drink thinking it may be different this time but it rarely ever is. When it comes to addiction you need professional help where as you do not with a habit. There are many ways of getting sober. Speak with your doctor because detoxing can be dangerous, and consider a detox rehab facility. There are also online AA meetings now if you are sober curious.
